I love how conservatives call themselves moral, and yet the only responses I see are personal attacks. Try making an opposing argument...or are you just so angry all the time, that you can't compose one anymore?
By the way, thanks for the compliment... If pointing out illegal and hateful behavior by a pubic official up for reelection done just to get some free earned media makes me anywhere near like the civil rights heros who set our country on a new path to equality 30 years ago, I should definitely keep blogging. I'd think you'd be a little ticked that all that overtime in the form of YOUR tax dollars is being used to campaign for public office...but that's right, as long as minorities are being harrassed, your tax dollars are well spent aren't they???
By the way, did you compare me to him because we're both black? neither of us will accept the status quo if it's wrong? or just because you are race baiting to your readers?
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. would be spinning in his grave if he saw how people like you thrive on the black community.
The way you and others like you communicate to minorities that it is okay to take on the attitude "it's not my fault" just keeps you in the position of power that you are in. You accuse others constantly of the problems in the black community instead of asking what the black community can do to better themseleves. I do not doubt for a minute that there is some racial profiling that is commited by our police dept. On the other hand, I also do not doubt that there is a fair amount of illegal acitivty occuring during "cruising." I know, I have witnessed it first hand. Unless you as a black leader in this community can turn around and ask the black community what they can do to better themselves, you will never live up to the likes of MLK or, for that matter, Bill Cosby.
In response to your question about tax dollars being used to campaign, why don't we ask Chuck Chvala (D-ScumBag) or, soon to be defunct Governor Jim "Bagman" Doyle (D-WEAC Towel Boy). Chuck can be reached via the State of WI. Dept. of Corrections, I believe.
In summary, you are far from a champion and or hero of the black community.

I agree, that too many on both sides are crooked. But by encouraging King David to keep up the insanity on the lakefront, it's your county tax dollars being spent to campaign in front of your face. The hypocrisy is shameful...
