Cruising

Have you heard this? Have you actually heard this?!? Ald. Michael Jackson-McGee-Sharpton-Etc. has actually proposed using Miller Park's parking lots as a police supervised cruising zone for "Milwaukee's youths" to legally cruise. WHAT?!

Where do I begin?

It is an illegal activity. How can we justify tax dollars spent to build Miller Park and it's lots and tax dollars used to payroll the cops to condone an illegal activity? Who will clean up the inevitable mess left by the cruisers? Why are people still up at 4am in public? Will most of these "Milwaukee youths" who organize these events via cell phone while leaving the bar be drunk? Thus driving drunk? High? God knows? Will they be carrying weapons? Starting fights? Do the police on the scene need riot gear?

WHAT?!? I am literally about to tear the hair out of my head!

How is this idiot still in office? How does he earn a salary to think up shit like this?

What shocks me even more is that Barrett didn't shut this idea down right away! He left it open to discussion! WHAT?!?!??!?!??!??!?!?!??!!!!???! Are you that stupid?! What are we paying you for? Do you not want to hurt Ald. Michael Jackson-McGee-Sharpton-Etc.'s feelings?!

We have, hands down, some of the dumbest politicians on the planet working in our city government.

Well, they all can't be that dumb. Cops are now that much closer to having the ability to confiscate cars of repeat cruising offenders.

The Marquette Interchange Presents.... (Uncut Version)

The Marquette Interchange Presents: Real Men of Genius
(Real Men of Genius)

Today we salute you, Mr. traffic jam causing - merge at the last second guy.
(Mr. Traffic jam causing - merge at the last second guy)

Without your uncanny willingness to stay in the far right or left lane until you absolutely must merge people would get where they need to be on time.
(Nobody wants to let you in)

Armed with your brand new 2006 Lexus, you hit the blinker at the last second, unsympathetic to the simpletons behind you now stuck in a jam.
(Everybody fucking hates you)

Start to merge when a construction traffic sign indicates to do so? I think not. While others read and follow the directions of road signs, you stick your nose in the air and hit the pedal to the metal.
(Your such an ignorant son of a bitch)

So crack open an ice cold beer, oh gatekeeper of the freeway, because the Marquette interchange construction will last 6 or 7 years, you on the other hand will be an asshole for the rest of your life.
(Mr. Traffic jam causing - merge at the last second guy)

Stolen proudly from Milwaukee CL R&R section.

Milwaukee's Very Own Rev. Jesse Jackson

As demonstrated in this post, Renee Crawford deems that all the work being done by the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Dept on Lincoln Memorial Drive to crack down on crime is racial profiling. It has nothing to do with the criminal activity...

A must read is you want to feel your head explode as a result of the "non-sensical tripe" flying at you from off of the computer screen. Wow.

"The Great Ethanol Boondoggle"

In case you missed the last hour of the Belling show today, I would be glad to post the editorial discussed in regards to ethanol. The Wall Street Journal indeed does have an editorial board right on the money when it comes to the ethanol debate as displayed here. Mark continued to pound on it as well as some of his more intelligent callers. *AHEM*! No doubt that ethanol is still a big problem until it makes marketable sense. More importantly, when the "We The People" and the gov't stop subsidizing it.

Double D's Tees

I feel that it is about time that I throw in my two cents worth regarding Dustin "Screech" Diamond's T shirt debacle.

Who cares? Really, who actually cares? A lot of you people out there are bitching and moaning and whining about a washed up celebrity selling t shirts to save his house. Who cares?

Well, Mike Nichols of the Milwaukee Urinal Sentinel cares enough to write an article about Double Ds, his house, his t shirts and his complaints to the Port Washington PD. Why? Who cares?

Plenty of people in the blogoshpere and the cheddarsphere alike are complaining about him. Why? Who cares? So what if he still has enough celebrity power left that he can hock crappy t shirts online to save his house. Are you jealous of that? I am sure not going to buy a t shirt and I don't really care if a bunch of other people do. You are free to spend your own money in any way you see fit, as long as it is legal. I personally won't spend it in that particular avenue (better spent on booze down the hatch), but to each their own.

Oh yeah, one other thing. Next time you think about opening your mouth to voice disapproval, ask yourself "Why?" and "Who cares?". Especially knowing that you didn't have to grow up playing that whiny voiced character on tv and looking like this....

Yikes!

So You Think You Want a Diesel?

In accordance with my contracts and obligations, the following post will be a half assed attempt at a sales pitch as well as a public service annoucement. Without further ado...

Next model year, that's 2007 for those of you readers who are oblivious to time, VW will NOT be offering diesel powered passenger vehicles. Specifically, the Jetta sedan and wagon, the new Rabbit(was a Golf) and the Beetle coupe.

Why? Well, VWAG was banking heavily on the legislation to pass that would bring European spec diesel fuel to our country which is of much lower sulfur caliber. This way, VWAG would not have to pour the money into developing a particulate filter that would lower the emissions of these vehicles using the current diesel fuel. Now, '07 models cannot pass the even lower (they were lowered two years ago) emissions standards.

So, what to do? BUY ONE NOW if you want one. Two of my customers averaging 48 - 49mpg on the freeway in the new Jetta. That is 6 - 7mpg over listed sticker numbers.

Wigderson, you have been updated.

Muslim Demands

This morning on Sykes, Charlie discusses what the response of public schools should be to the recent demands of Muslim students and parents. Specifically, Muslim parents ask that if their daughters are playing a basketball team against another school that has no Muslims, that men may not be present due to the attire their Muslim daughters would be donning. Hmmmm..... separation of church and state?

Here are your unofficial answers.

1. Don't allow your daughters to play basketball because men will be there and viewing them in "non modest apparel".

2. Send your daughter(s) to a private school where your wishes may be met.

Specifically following up on the second answer: My parents wanted me to learn the Catholic religion. They DID NOT ask the public schools to teach it to me, instead sent me to a private school where it would be taught. I did not hear this oh so common sense answer provided (I did miss small tidbits of the segment), but it seems like a no brainer to me.

Assault With A "Dead"ly Weapon? CCW?

Did you read this? This woman actually attacked her dead dog's breeder with what else? The carcas of the dead dog! Seriously. I just want to know if this is assault with a "dead"ly weapon and whether or not the carcas was concealed (If it WAS concealed, the dems have another great argument!).

al Zarqawi is "Swimmin' wit' da fishies"

In the wake of the death of one of the planet's most heinous men, people are reacting everywhere with different thoughts and comments. I, for one, and glad to be rid of this scum bucket. Paul Bigley, brother of Ken Bigley, whom was beheaded by al Zarqawi's entourage in '04 seems to agree and recieves the prestigious DCS quote of the week award for the following:

“The man was an animal and he deserved what he got. And may he rot in hell.”
—Paul Bigley

On the other hand (come on, you KNEW this was coming), Michael Berg, father of beheaded American kidnapping victim Nicholas Berg, would tend to disagree with me. This is the same man who blamed "W" for the death of his son (way to find a scape goat). He will receive the rather unprestigious DCS idiot of the week award for the following:

“I have no sense of relief, just sadness that another human being had to die.”
—Michael Berg

Riiiiiiggggghhhhtttt. And Haliburton ordered al Qaeda to fly planes into the WTC.
