Liar Liar

Exaggerated stories of rape and murders in the Nawlins Superdome and Convention center are now being reported as false. Shocking. CNN.com reported here that the initial reports of dead bodies piling up in the Superdome freezer and women being dragged off and raped were all untrue.

Both Mayor Ray Nagin and Chief of Police Eddie Compass lied. Chief Compass even went so far as to go on the Oprah show and lie about the reports of little babies being raped, children with their throats slit, and piles of bodies stacked up in the basement. Nagin lied on the same show. Sources were eye witnesses in the Superdome and the Convention center.

So, without confirming reports, both Nagin and Compass went onto national television and exaggerated and told these stories. Absolutely incredible. It's incredible that they would feed this b.s. to the press, knowing that it would create fear and heartbreak in the minds and hearts of the American public.

So why would they lie to us?

I'll tell you why. By lying to us they created tragic stories that could make the people in charge of the rescue efforts look worse. By relating these stories to poor rescue effort planning and execution, it only made local and national authorities, specifically Bush and FEMA, look worse. If only they could have been there to prevent these terrible things. Right? Bush, who is still carrying the burden of blame for this incident, looked the worse. And still does.

The fact of the matter is that this is a back page news story. The MSM doesn't want you to know this stuff. It's getting buried by news reports of Hurricane Rita and now Delay's political "scandal". If the public doesn't know this story, Bush will continue to look bad having not prevented all this senseless violence.

Liars need to be put in their place. Exposed for all to see. Especially liars at this level. What a bunch of b.s. "Don't get stuck on stupid!" "That's just plain B.S." I kinda wish I could hear Honore's opinion on all this, it would make me feel just a little less nauseous.

Save Our Wetlands, Kill Humans

The Save Our Wetlands organization is trying deperatley to save their name, amongst other things.

In light of recent stories blasting the organization for filing lawsuits in 1977 to prevent the Army Corps of Engineers from building a more effective floodgate system, the organization takes aim at the levee system set up in place of the alternative they sued against.

Quoted from SaveOurWetlands.org:

"'Mr. Naomi said an I-wall section of the levee did indeed fail, and he agreed that a T-wall design design probably wouldn't have'".

They use Mr. Naomi to point out that the levee sytem failed, leaving out the whole time that the floodgate system would have not. More importantly, because these earth saving greenies have tied up the courts with this crap, they delayed this life saving project forty years. If built when initially planned, the project would have been in place about twenty years before Hurrican Katrina hit.

Quoted from Michael Tremoglie and FrontPageMagazine.com:

"In the 1970s, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers’ Lake Pontchartrain and Vicinity Hurricane Barrier Project planned to build fortifications at two strategic locations, which would keep massive storms on the Gulf of Mexico from causing Lake Pontchartrain to flood the city. An article in the May 28, 2005, New Orleans Times-Picayune stated, 'Under the original plan, floodgate-type structures would have been built at the Rigolets and Chef Menteur passes to block storm surges from moving from the Gulf into Lake Pontchartrain.'"

It seems as if to me that they are blatanly ignoring the fact that they sued to rid the plans of setting up a floodgate system. Of course they are, what am I thinking? They don't want to point the finger at themselves. Pass the buck and the blame without telling the whole story. As proved here at DCS, their political rhetoric is extremely flawed and nothing but a bunch of liberal hogwash.

So, once again, it is more important to protect shrimp and shellfish than human life. Sad, isn't it?

A Question of Legality

Is it legal to publish an email address obtained from a comment post on your website?

I am not asking this because I have the intention of doing so, someone has done it to me. When I entered my email information in the proper box, the note clearly says that the email address is required, but will not be published. The administrator of the site in question has taken it upon himself to publish my email address. He did not, however, publish my comments, both of them.

Just curious.

Blogging Banned at the Office

Unfortunately because of the recent blog ban at my office, I will not be able to blog quite as much. Delayed responses to comments on this blog and others is not a sign of weakness, yet a desire to stay employed.

The management here at DCS thanks you for your understanding.

Integrity

Define integrity. Dictionary.com would have us believe that integrity is defined in the following three ways:

1. Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.
2. The state of being unimpaired; soundness.
3. The quality or condition of being whole or undivided; completeness.

There are many people in my life whom embody the definition of integrity. People in my personal and business life. They know who they are. They stand up for what they believe. Typically what is good and right. Typically what the first definiton lists above. Morality. Ethics. Let's for a moment concentrate on ethics.

Define ethics. Dictionary.com would have us believe ethics is defined in the following three ways:

1. a. A set of principles of right conduct.
b. A theory or a system of moral values: “An ethic of service is at war
with a craving for gain” (Gregg Easterbrook).
2. ethics (used with a sing. verb) The study of the general nature of morals
and of the specific moral choices to be made by a person; moral
philosophy.
3. ethics (used with a sing. or pl. verb) The rules or standards governing
the conduct of a person or the members of a profession: medical ethics.

Let's concentrate on the third definition listed above. A profession. Would that profession include a politician. Typically it doesn't. Politicians are pretty slimy, well, most politicians. But as you probably have already guessed, I'm getting at something, or maybe someone in particular.

You know who you are. You know I'm talking about you. Inevitably, probably in about nine hours, you will be visiting this site and will have seen this post. You will comment and try to defend your actions. But we all know that there is no defense for what you did. Maybe that is why you no longer hold an elected position. Maybe that is why you were recalled outright. Every county supervisor at the time gave up their pension plan but you. An ill gotten pension plan. Why is that?

Maybe it's because you lack integrity. I'm sure that's what it is.

*A note to my readers. I know what you are thinking. A car salesman questioning one's ethics and integrity. Unfortunately I have received a reputation that had been handed down from car salesmen before me. Especially the car salesmen in the seventies. There is a difference here. This car salesman didn't vote to give himself a nice big fat pension. This car salesman didn't refuse to give it up like his counterparts. Ladies and gentlemen, you have met a bigger slimeball than me. He still resides in Milwaukee, Wi. and is awaiting his ill gotten money.

We Can Sleep Knowing This....

Hillary is all but gone for her 2008 presidential bid. Newsmax.com reports that she trails in a poll (she received on 8%, down 2 points from June) taken by the Daily Kos liberal based weblog. Good. Good stuff. I won't wake up screaming tonight in a cold sweat...

On the bad side, Wesley Clark is out in front with 34%... The battle continues.

Where Has All The Common Sense Gone?

Ladies, let me give you a piece of advice (I know that I am probably the last guy who should give women advice, but stay with me on this one).

If a man has his manhood cut off because of an argument with his then wife, do not go near him. Do not talk to him, do not touch him, and definitely do not date him.

Plus he looks like this...

And his family jewels are mangled?!? What?!?

Okay, okay. Listen, here, hold on just a second. I am in tact, single, I work, have a nice place, my car does kinda suck(I am working on that), and I don't have a proven history of domestic violence.

I guess I will never understand the female psyche...

Anyways, the story is here. Apparently he is now divorcing his current wife after having committed domestic violence, again.

Have You Actually Heard This?

My head almost exploded. I swear! Last night I was on the couch and watching the real news when it came to my attention that a group of no doubt delusional, paranoid conspiracy theorists are now claiming that Hurricane Katrina is all an elaborate plot to kill poor people, especially poor black people. AAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!

What?!? WHAT?!?

Why? Why would someone actually conjure this kind of crap up? It makes me sick to my stomach. I am sick. Excuse me, I need to go visit the porcelain throne......

OK. I'm okay now. Who thinks this crap up? I'll tell you who... Louis Farrakhan. This idiot pictured below.

You, Louis Farrakhan, are a racist. You stir the pot of hatred. You are incredibly delusional and paranoid. You make me sick. You continue to drive race relations further apart in this culture.

Now why would you do that?

That's right, without this inherent continuing "problem" you would be out of a job.

Kudos To FoMoCo

That's right, it's not a typo. I am giving kudos to FoMoCo. ME. DCS. No, you are not hallucinating. But why??

Well, according to the Sept. 19th edition of Automotive News, Ford, NOT GM, is adhering to value pricing, another idea cooked up by GM. Value pricing, blogged about here by yours truly, will eliminate big rebates and price the MSRP closer to transaction prices of 2005 model year cars. The average price decrease for Ford per vehicle was $506 compared to GM at $300. Although not much, Ford is making progress in this department to stabilize a volatile market.

It will be a long road to recovery, but at least we are seeing some progress now.

Here We Go Again

Now that all the name calling and bitching and moaning has ceased on a post creating record breaking feedback here at DCS, we can move on to a real story.

Hurricane Rita has just been upgraded to a Category 5 hurricane, with top wind speeds of 165 mph. This information just reported on MSN, story here. The National Weather Service and NOAA have it hitting landfall in the early Saturday morning hours. (Cool link to NOAA, btw. Lots of nice maps and graphics)

We have a big problem. When I say big, I mean BIG. This hurricane is bigger than Katrina. It is more powerful than Katrina. It is headed for land, more specifically the port of Houston. The port of Houston brings in hundreds of millions of goods into the US each year. The area predicted to be devasted by Hurricane Rita also hosts all the oil refineries in the gulf coast not damaged and shut down by Hurricane Katrina. I am making a prediction now that gas prices will hit $3.50 per gallon as a national average sometime next week if this storm is as devastating as they predict.

Fortunately, people are evacuating now. Nobody is taking chances. Hopefully, the loss of life will be nowhere that of the size Hurricane Katrina. Hopefully.

It is pretty safe to say "We aren't out of the woods yet." No, clearly we are lost directly in the middle, waist deep in a swamp. I predict this is going to be the most devastating hurricane and national tragedy yet, and will take hundreds of billions of dollars to fix, not to mention at least a decade to do it. This will be a time in which great leaders will rise and make their marks on history.

I, on the other hand, am second guessing my scheduled trip to Tampa Bay, FL. scheduled for early October. We will see...

BREAKING NEWS!!! New Investigation Reveals Bush Scandal In S.E. Wisconsin*

This just in, and you heard it here first at DCS. I'm so excited to break this incredible news story to my readership!

There has been a top secret investigation underway here in Southeastern Wisconsin recently to determine the nature of the damaging thunderstorms that passed through here on Tuesday evening. I am proud to announce that one of the covert agents, a good friend of mine, has leaked information from the investigation to me and revealed the George W. Bush, the president of the United States of America, has conspired with several companies to create the damaging thunderstorm and high winds. It's true! GW Bush, or "Georgie Porgie" as the investigators have dubbed him, is behind the storm in order to raise energy prices.

Apparently, Halliburton, the company that spawned the robot Dick Cheney, who you may know as the humanoid Vice President, is also behind the scenes of this storm much like the Wizard of Oz. At their control board in a discreet outer space station launched by NASA earlier this year through the command of the President, Halliburton fired up the dangerous storm machine which was positioned somewhere in Northeastern Iowa. The machine then generated the thunderstorm and 80mph winds to take out the power of 60,000+ people. After waiting almost three days, Bush commanded WE Energies to restore power in the area seeing the demand increase. Of course, with the increased demand, Bush could then raise the prices of electricity prices in an attempt to line the pockets of the "Good Ole' Boy" Network and their fat cat friends.

We here at DCS are shocked! It must be true that the rise of gasoline prices, Hurricane Katrina, the Tsunami of '04, the bombing of USS Cole, the Attacks of 9/11, the invasion of Al-Sheehani and Al-Micheel-Mooroni, and other natural disasters and attacks on the country are all because of GW Bush and his fat cat buddies and companies.

You heard it here first, folks. Thanks for your continued readership and support. I'll keep you updated.

*This story is completely fictional. If you believe any of this b.s., visit these morons. They are right up your alley...

End of the World

Just discovered this website and this video, really funny. It is NSFW*, so if you are viewing it there, be careful. Children should be ousted from the room, so those of you with them, turn on Barney upstairs.

Just really really good satire. The humor is of that so all can understand, not necessarily appreciate, as you might need to be from the "Simpsons" generation. Those who watched Monty Python can probably get a chuckle out of it too. I implore you to click and watch.

*Not Safe For Work - The F word is used profusely, otherwise cool.

Thank God for Rick Esenberg

Rick, you da' man. Seriously Rick, you da' man. Thank you for your editorial in the Urinal Sentinel today. You make several excellent points, and put a perspective in this paper that we wouldn't normally see. Everything you stated I completly agree with, and have been talking about with people here in this forum and others for about two weeks now. It is very nice to see an article in the MSM that brings common sense and reasoning to the table. The only person I wish you would have chastised would be that ding bat on the west coast Pelosi. I do realize however that you have limited space, and I am sure she and others are on your list. Look forward to seeing more common sense articles come down the pipeline.

Your fans, the management at DCS.

Celine Dion the Moron

Isn't this woman Canadian? I'm pretty sure she is Canadian. I know whe is a Canadian. Then why are you talking? You can't vote, you don't pay our taxes, you just perform your shitty music in our country. You are lucky you get away with that. So, shut up. Your ignorant statements about the disaster of Hurricane Katrina (sponsored in part by GW Bush, Halliburton, and KBR*) are more than I care to hear out of your mouth. Actually, I don't care to hear your music either, so leave. Go back to Canada. For those who have not seen this ignoramus' video clip on Larry King on CNN, click here.

Pictured above in that stupid backwards dress or whatever. Must be a Canadian thing.

Background Checks

In today's Urinal Sentinel, there is a story reporting the new "abuse, agony and racial profiling" that the evacuees have been experiencing since Hurricane Katrina (sponsored in part by GW Bush, Halliburton, and KBR*). Apparently evacuees coming to the shelters at the state fair grounds here in Wisconsin are receiving a criminal background checks to verify they do not have any outstanding federal warrants. Additionally, as Milwaukee County Executive Office spokesman Rod McWilliams states, "We were also looking for people on the sex offender rolls, not that they'd be turned away, but it's common sense: You don't want to house someone with that type of offense in a dorm full of kids." Duh...

Oh, but noooooooooo, says the NAACP. It's racial profiling, it's harmful to treat these people this way. Haven't they gone through enough?!? Although the ACLU has not jumped onboard here in Wisconsin, they have joined the NAACP in other states, and I imagine they will start screaming their pretty heads off here in Wisconsin shortly too.

Imagine, if you will for a moment with me, if this was a group of white people** getting their backgrounds' checked when they came to the shelter. Where would you be then, NAACP? Where would you be then, ACLU? You wouldn't be kicking and screaming about the mistreatment of the white people, that's for damn sure. The ignorami running these organizations can't see for a minute that checking backgrounds of evacuees is strictly a safety issue, designed to protect those in said communities from possible inbound criminals. Especially designed to protect innocent children here in Milwaukee and in the shelters from pederasses. Duh.

One more question to you folks at the NAACP. Would you say that it is the advancement for "your people" when they are using taxpayer funded FEMA credit cards to buy expensive purses, shoes, gaming systems, tvs and lap dances? Just checking...

Republican Presidential Candidate for 2008

I am officially coming out in support of Fred Thompson for president on the republican ticket in 2008. He has been recently seen following around John Roberts, the Chief Supreme Court Justice nominee. Fred Thompson is an advisor to Judge Roberts in his quest for the top seat of the bench. He is also an actor(seen on Law and Order), and a former attorney and Senator from the deep south. This guy has character, charisma, common sense, can talk to and relate to people very well, has good negotiating and debating skills, and can conceivably run and win the ticket. He is also not a RINO. Run, Mr. Thompson, run. I will cast my vote for whom I think can, and will, be a winner.

Seen here, center, with the cast of Law and Order.

Seen here in a profile shot.

Goodbye, GM

GM continues employee pricing... I don't currently have the words right now to describe how backwards this makes me feel. My stomach is churning, I am nauseous. Why?? THE DEAL IS ON FRIGGIN' '06 MODELS!!!!! GM, you are screwed for '06. You'll will have to continue this promo to get people to buy your crap cars. Furthermore, as I blogged here you said you were done with this for '06 model years. No deals, no rebates, true market pricing. Guess not. Have fun going down the tubes, I am saddened to watch it happen, but that's where you are headed.

VW/Audi/Porsche Hybrid

VW announced today that it will begin development of a hybrid vehicle. I really have mixed feelings about this. Why develop an incredibly expensive technology when diesel is the fuel of the future? Evidently Volkswagen AG (which owns Audi) and Porsche, a company VW AG collaborates with from time to time are getting together to develop this technology and see if they can grab a piece of this relatively small market. Although market share and demand will ultimately grow, I think they should continue to pioneer in diesel engine field and technology. Am I suggesting they put all their eggs in one basket? No. But when you have an engine which can run very reliably on a fuel made entirely out of a renewable resource, why aren't you running with that idea??

In case you aren't familiar, a VW diesel engine can run on B5 biodiesel, a fuel made out of soybeans. The engine also can run on grease, and a lot of people are jumping on this bandwagon. Personally, and I will continue to stick by this prediction, I think that diesel is the one in the long run. Cheap, reliable, infrastructure easy to set up. Hybrids are still based off of gasoline, technology is incredibly expensive, no one knows the life of this vehicle or the battery.... Hydrogen, wow, expensive for everything. Infrastructure, technology, development, etc. Natural gas falls in this same boat. Time will tell the story down the road, but in the mean time I am taking 20 year bets. Any takers?

The Enemy Has Been Sited, Let's Take 'Em Down

I have recently rediscovered the enemy. They live in our country. The are democracy hating, freedom loathing, anti American bloggers. They Cannot stand GW Bush, republican leaders, conservative preachers, or anyone with a dime of common sense. They are anti NeoCon, anti Dad29, anti BitterPissed, anti Ken, anti P.I. Mom, anti conservative bloggers world wide. I, DCS, am calling you all to rise to the challenge. I am calling on all conservative bloggers to make this blog a daily read, and argue with me against them. I am calling you out to point out the faulty logic, the lies, the finger pointing, the anti patriotism spewed day in and day out at this blog. See for yourself...

http://pissedonpolitics.blogspot.com

The enemy is in our sites... Will you rise to the challenge with me? Will you help me point out the lies and falsehoods spouted? Join me if you dare.

$52 billion more

I am going to go out on a limb here and agree with the eleven members of the house that voted against the $52 billion in relief for the hurricane recovery. I know that I may catch a lot of flack, and I be labeled as an anti-American, blah blah blah, whatever. Those of you who know me well know this is far from the truth, so, if you read this, read it all the way through, understand the logic, and don't jump to conclusions.

Last night a house of representatives member from Arizona (can't recall the name) was on Fox News explaining why he voted against it. The logic was simple enough. He stated that they(congress) are in their offices every week, and that they should do increments of $10 billion, not a big chunk at once. Each week, if necessary, FEMA can come to them and request more money and state the reasons that they need it. By giving them $52 billion at once, the money may be misspent or misappropriated. In an area where money was spent poorly in the past on the levees and flood control, the idea of giving them money incrementally makes perfect sense. Sensenbrenner made the same point when questioned why he voted against the measure.

I know that in a time of disaster that money is a pretty trivial topic, but, let's not get crazy here. The total spent by the feds now is up to $600 per family in the U.S. I know we will spend more on the relief effort, but let's take it day by day, step by step.

Now go ahead and roast if you must, but remember that we need to think clearly throughout the whole recovery process and not piss the money away on stupid things (I also know that this is impossible to do, and politicians and agents in charge of the money out there will have stupid ideas along the way. This is unavoidable.)

Screw You Kanye West!

Here is a link to video of Kanye West on the hurricane aid show on NBC. A little over halfway through the video he blurts out, and I qoute, "George Bush doesn't care about black people." The look on Mike Myers face is priceless. The camera then cuts over to Chris Tucker, also black, who looks stunned for about five seconds.

You, Kanye West, are ignorant, stupid, and inherently racist. If I did listen to your shitty music, I would stop.

Here is the link to the video:

Copy and paste, I am not so hot with computers as you can tell from past posts and do not know how to make this an active link.

I Hate This Woman

I thought that we had gotten rid of Nancy Pelosi. Why did I think that? Has she not said anything stupid enough in the last couple of years to warrant media coverage?? She mode some cockneyed statement to the press referring to the federal response time yesterday and it made me want to put a .45 caliber round through the tube. I immediately became hot and almost left the room, then she was off. A sigh of relief for the moment. I am actually afraid to turn the television back onto any news channel in fear that I will see her ugly, hideous mug and hear asinine statements that make me want to shove a sharpened pencil in my temple. She had made a comment to some effect that GW should be ashamed for killing all of the evacuees because he didn't get aid to them quick enough. It was something really stupid like that. Well, I like the picture that I found of her, and I hope that it will make anyone who has to listen to her feel a little bit better.

So Bad, But Oh So Good...

This is oh so terrible, but oh so friggin' funny at the same time. It's good to get a laugh in here while you can. Nice to see a news publication put a real funny spin on this whole debacle. Check it out, you'll get a kick out of it...

It's Gonna Get A LOT Worse...

Peter DeLorenzo of AutoExtremist.com really believes that this is the beginning of the end, at least for awhile, for GM and Ford. I tend to agree. Here you have two manufacturers, who in the last five years, have made all of their money on the SUV market. In turn, they have put a lot of money into developing new SUVs and SUV producing plants in the U.S. Everybody told them the bubble would burst. The bubble burst last week, and it came in the form of a large hurricane. Katrina brought devastation, destruction, heartbreak, and death to many in the deep south. It also brought a permanent increase, amongst other factors, in gas and oil prices (see Dad29.blogspot.com for a nice article on this today). It will be a very bleak fall, winter, and spring for GM and FoMoCo, and I'm glad I will not partake.

For the article, a must read, check it out at:

Forget the Reviews... It's Business as Usual

CAR OF THE WEEK

A little delayed, and a little biased. Well, too bad on both. Every single review I hear, both from paid and unpaid critics, preaches the same thing on the new Jetta... Bland styling, bigger car, not a Jetta. Wrong, right, wrong. Although the car has grown up a little bit and is now designed to compete against premium compacts and entry level midsize sedans, it does NOT have bland styling and certainly IS a Jetta.

Start over. That's exactly what VW engineers did when they got their hands on this car, they started over and went back to the drawing board. Although the styling of the vehicle has drastically changed, the German look is still there and the German build quality certainly remains. Smooth, quiet, responsive, elegant, functional, practical, safe, beautiful. Just a few choice words from yours truly. Now offering a new suspension, new gasoline engines, new steering system, new technology packages, and new transmissions to name a few, the new Jetta is a viable competitor and sure to be a segment leader shortly.

Take that back, it already is. The new Jetta is the only, yes that's right, only sedan to ace the side impact crash test ratings from the IIHS. No other sedan on the market comes close. Will be leading? Already there.

This brings me to the car of the week, the new Jetta GLI as pictured above. The Jetta sport model (yes I have driven it), is very impressive. Standard sport suspension, new 2.0L FSI (Fuel Straight Injected) engine, 6 speed manual transmission, and optional 6 speed automatic DSG (Direct Shift Gearbox) transmission. Also notice 17" standard wheels, 18" optional (pictured), sport seats, different interior trim, and honeycomb black with red trim sport grille. All a nice combo.

BTW, car is selling great against all the odds and bad reviews based on appearance. Nyah, nyah, nyah...

This Just In..... GO TO HELL!

Apparently the local Nawlins gov't and Ray Nagin handed out DVDs and information to poor neighborhoods prior to the hurricane that sent a message to the tone of, "You're on your own if you stay." Or as I have affectionately put it, "Go to hell!" That's right, Ray "I knew it was coming this bad and didn't do anything about it" Nagin gave information to the poor people of the city that said if you do not evacuate, we will not help you afterwards. This all according to Fox News Channel.

Wow. What do you say to that? Okay, thanks for taking all those tax dollars from me...

That's not all. The Saturday night before the hurricane hit, at 5pm, Nagin issued an evacuation suggestion, followed the Sunday morning at 9am with a mandatory evacuation notification. But, the buses were only to take people to the Superdome. Oh, and by the way, you should eat a full meal before coming to the Superdome and bring your own food, water, and clothing.

So who's fault is this? Who is in charge of being a first responder? Who needs to evacuate people? Who needs to get them water and food and medical supplies/help? I think this blog answers the question very nicely for us... Thankyou FNC for first, fair, and balanaced reporting.

Why You Can't Argue With a Liberal

I asked a liberal today how many natural disasters in the last century has the U.S. seen where 80% of a city was flooded as a result of it. (This was in response to him blaming GW Bush for not mobilizing troops and supplies to the affected areas quick enough.) He responded, and I qoute, "What do you know, you are only 23. I am more than twice your age!" ......Yeah.....ummmm.... That's exactly what I asked you....

FEMA Response

I am so sick and tired of the lefties out there complaining and pointing fingers at the Bush administration for the poor FEMA and Federal Gov't response time to the Katrina disaster. The money can't come quick enough, and neither can control or troops.

10,000 troops are in route. 10,000. That's ten thousand!!! How many more do you want? What, they can't all be there at once?!? Right away?!? Did you want them to come down before the hurricane and be put in harm's way? They would be there though, right? But the looting.... Yeah, we have this problem, see. The city, yeah, it's under-friggin'-water!!!! They can't just drive tanks everywhere. That's why it's just a tad difficult controlling the madness and rescuing people. There is no ground transportation. I'm not down there, but I have seen the news coverage. It looks pretty friggin' flooded to me...

Furthermore, congress, has convened from their summer break to vote on $10.5 billion. Senate approved it late last night, and the house is probably voting on it right now as I write this. How much faster can we do this people? Due friggin' process! Everything gets voted on, there is no way around it! They don't need money right away anyway, they need food and water and to be evacuated. And guess what, that's happening right now as we speak! What, do you think the gov't has a stockpile of food somewhere they can just unload from? No, they don't. Food shelters and charities nationwide are donating all of that right now as we speak. Do you think the gov't can just wave a wand and 1,000 buses will show up like that to evacuate the people? No, the gov't cannot do that, they have to get the buses down there first. Take time.

Has it occurred to anyone else out there but me that this has never ever happened before during our time (defined as this generation) in the U.S.? We don't really have experience handling this, now do we? What do you expect of our leaders if no one had ever dreamed this up to prepare for it? What do you expect us to do if this is the first time dealing with this? There is a learning curve I would think. But you lefties, screaming and whining, you must know better. I'm sure it would never had occurred in the first place if you were in charge. Right? See yesterday's post for details of what would have been different....

Nice Editorial

In the "Perspectives" page of the Urinal Sentinel today, a Kathleen Parker actually had a good editorial, one that sums up everything that has occurred just outside of Bush's Crawford Texas Ranch. Parker has dubbed it "The Theatre of the Absurd." I like it. Furthermore, I like her article.

Parker goes on to rip the act that not only al-Sheehani is giving, but the act put on by the supporting players. Parker lays into weirdo folk singer Joan Baez, fake president Martin Sheen, and the reverend al sharpton (I realize his name is all in lowercase letters, he doesn't deserve uppercase letters). Read it, pretty good stuff. Similar to a post found on this page a couple days ago.... Hmmm....

Dammit!

This is the kinda crap that seems to happen to me every day.... Dammit!

Blame Bush! Blame Bush!

Going out on a limb here and going to make a prediction... Bush will be blamed for everything.

Every single aspect of this will be blamed on Bush. The looters, the rescue effort, the mobilization of troops, the water and food supply, the transportation of refugees, the lack of funds (what?), other countries not donating money, the hurricane itself (already done), rising gas prices (already done), shortage of diesel VWs for sale, every person who died in the tragedy, broken Superdome, occupied Astrodome, lack of jobs in the area, broken levees, the French morons who settled in the country in this region and started the city on a swamp initially, high winds, my broken shoelace, my hideous wife, flooded homes, flooded businesses, flooded government buildings, typhoid, run on sentence structures, mosquitoes, no electricity, my waders are missing, dirty water, the roof is on fire, it's 105 degrees, the insanity, etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.

The left, al-Sheehani, the liberals, the greenies, the weenies, Al Sharpton, the peruvian president, Michael Moore, Hollywood, every major newspaper in the country, Jesse Jackson, the NAACP, the NCAA, the ACLU, the NFL, Martin Sheen, the CLINTONS, Al Gore, Fatty Teddy, the Looters, the Iraqis, the French and the French American settlers from the 16th century, Howie "YEEEAAGGGHH" Dean, the Heinz family and their bitch Kerry, some lesbians somewhere, Herb "da pederass" Kohl, Russ "Feiny" Feingold, Moveon.org, stolenelectionin2000becausemydaddyis - GHWBushandwearestillbitchingaboutit.ORG, George "Sorry Ass if I run into the writer of the blog" Soros, Piano tuners local 201, George Clooney, and Barabara Streissand will all do their best to continue to bitch and moan and whine and point fingers and blame Bush because that is all they can do... No liberal or lefty ever ran on a party platform, they just blame whatever republican is in power.

This is just a prediction. Jump on the bandwagon and help everyone blame Bush!
